MMH Furniture floating shelves are designed to be a step above the ordinary.
The integrated side panels add practicality by allowing heavier items to be stored on the shelf and preventing items from falling off the edges.
The end panels are understated yet distinctive, available in a range of standard colours with a beeswax finish or a natural finish to allow home painting.
Each shelf is machined with precise keyhole slots in the rear of the side panels, so the shelves hang securely from two or four screws while maintaining a clean, floating appearance.
Finished with natural beeswax, these shelves combine refined design with everyday functionality, a practical and characterful addition to any space.

At MMH Furniture I offer the highest quality handmade furniture, crafted by myself to last many years. My bespoke and readymade pieces are made from sustainably sourced materials in my Yorkshire workshop.
Bespoke
Each piece of bespoke furniture is designed and created in my Yorkshire workshop using a combination of contemporary and traditional techniques. Bespoke pieces are made to suit your individual requirements. From tables and chairs to wardrobes and sideboards, each piece is unique and crafted to perfection.
Ready Made
I have a range of off the peg furniture that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design techniques to create beautiful pieces of furniture that will allow you to add high quality design to your home.
Sustainability
I use only materials that are locally sourced or from FSC Certified sources. All of my furniture is built to be repairable and refinish-able in case of any future mishaps or to tidy up the patina which his gained over time. I believe furniture should be used and not cosseted, having the knowledge that furniture can be revived after the knocks, bangs and scrapes of life will hopefully ensure my furniture is used as intended.
Inspiration
My furniture is inspired by nature, modernism, mid-century and contemporary design and built with traditional Arts and Crafts Movement values of craftsmanship and elegance.
